The manor predominantly celebrates the Brâncovenesc style, while some rooms are furnished in the Biedermeier, Altdeutsch, or even the eclectic Empire style. Every decorative element has been carefully chosen to recreate the atmosphere in which Romanian boyars lived during the 18th century.

From here, on the veranda, the Oltenian boyars of days gone by would watch the world unfold.

It was good news when nothing could be seen in the distance — no cloud of dust raised by the approach of an Ottoman troop. The boyar could then return to his leisurely pursuits, letting the afternoon drift by as he smoked his long pipe, enjoyed a spoonful of fruit preserve with a glass of cold water, or simply indulged in a blissful nap.
