At the manor, mealtimes are arranged much as they were in days gone by — by the fireplace, with elegant cutlery and candlesticks, soft lighting and refined music.

Our menus draw inspiration from the lavish feasts of the boyars — elaborate meals served in courses, each unfolding like a story: from delicious hors d’oeuvres to the main course, followed by the ritual of tea with homemade cakes and the traditional serving of coffee, prepared just as it once was by the boyar household’s master coffee maker.

The manor’s menus — and we place great importance on that plural.

There is no fixed à la carte menu here. Instead, you may discover “The Boyar’s Lunch,” “The Noble Lady’s Dinner,” or “The Lady of the Manor’s Refined Feast.”

Each is a different culinary experience — just as every person is different and every season brings its own distinctive flavours. Each meal unfolds through a sequence of three or four dishes, where the only “rules” are harmony and flavour.
